I’m posting this here even though it may be a 3.0 problem!

Problem 1:
Under version 3.0, I added one new DVD to a collection of 899 discs. This was NOT my first ADD to 3.0.
After the ADD, the collection list showed 900 owned and 900 filtered but the top DVD on the list was the old number 899.

After looking thru the list, I found that the new disc was assigned number 896 and was inserted in place. One other disc was missing. I was able to recover by reassigning all collection numbers by purchase date. All discs are now present with the correct collection number on 3.0.

Problem 2:
I then did a sync with Mobile 1.0. After that, Mobile 1.0 collection list had all 900 discs but the collection numbers are screwed up. Here are the first six discs on the list:

5 896 897
6 895 895

The disc with the blank collection number is the same one that went missing during the ADD described in problem 1.

Any ideas on how to recover from this?

I have noticed this too.  Right now part of my collection is numbered right on my pc, but on my ppc:

but they are still in the right order....

i think i had the same problem some of my movies  would be on my dvd profiler but not on my pocket pc so  i looked at the missing  profiles that was missing from my pocket pc on my dvd profiler and they would say not rated or the genres would say adult  i change the rating and the genres and i did a new synchronize to my pocket pc  and the showed up on there        i hope this help anybody
