Title: Ænigma Original Title: Aenigma Yes. that sounds useful and reasonable. Except ... there is no support in the rules for that. At least I could find no support for "Aenigma" being the original title. There certainly is nothing in the rules about changing the spelling of the original title in order to enhance searchability. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

Title: Ænigma Original Title: Aenigma I do this kind of thing locally when I run across them. Not all stuff has to be in the online. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

For the online you need to go per the rules and Invelos' clarifications/posts. | | | Pete |

--------------- I beg to differ. Try contributing TV season child profiles by using the rules, and they will be voted down and declined. I've tried it. Pete knows what I'm talking about. | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |

For the online you need to go per the rules and Invelos' clarifications/posts. Sorry for the stupid question, but how does one go about finding all of Invelos' clarifications/posts? IMHO, these clarifications should find their way into the contribution rules if they are meant to be followed. After all not everyone can be a DVD Profiler Jedi Master. Maybe, it's time for a contributions rules update/rewrite. |

I didn't say that Invelos followed the rules, or that voters followed the rules. If Ken doesn't want us to contribute TV child profiles that's OK. --------------- |

--------------- They will be voted down if they are season child profiles without a UPC of their own. And voting these down is correct per the rules. |

| Posted: | | | | Which is what I was talking about.
From the rules: "In cases where multiple complete TV seasons/series (each with distinct UPC/EAN) are packaged together, the Box-set rules are applied, treating each season/series like a single film - applying the above rules for its individual profile."
The implication is that large boxes containing multiple seasons or complete series cannot have season-level child profiles if these don't have their own UPC. They can only have disc-level child profiles. |

I tried changing a season set using the rules exactly as written and you and a few others voted no using Gerri's statement as the reason why. Then in a thread you stated because it would change the way it sorted in a search which was unacceptable to you, even though there is a Sort title field that you could put whatever you need to search the way you wanted. Personal preference over rules. |
