Help The app keep on Freezing on Me

Running ios 11.1.2 Iphone 8 app v 4.0.1 win 7

I cannot sync the data from my ios to the pc The app keep on Freezing on me and telling me
Error sending change. Continue ( retry,Skip,Cancel ) Not able to do a selection because the app is frozen
I have to force quit the app and restart the app

Fond a way to work around the app freezing. What I did is holding down the update button for at least 10 seconds every time I did this the app did not freeze on me and I was able to upload the database to my PC

1. Clear recent apps in the background.
2. Check and manage internal memory
3. Remove erratic or unstable apps.
These method can fix iPhone screen keeps freezing problem.
