Online Reviews

To view reviews for a DVD in your collection, select Online->Reviews. From the Add DVD dialog, the Preview option may also show reviews for the selected DVD. To enable or disable this, visit Tools->Options->Defaults.

DVD Profile will connect to the online reviews database and download reviews for the selected DVD. Select a review in the list at left to view the full review. Right-click on the review list for sort options, or to view ignored reviewers.

To mark a particular reviewer as a favorite, select the review and select Favorite Reviewer. Reviews from this reviewer will, by default, show at the top of the reviews list. This setting affects all reviews written by that reviewer, for any DVD.

To ignore a particular reviewer, select the review and select Ignore Reviewer. Reviews from this reviewer will be removed from the display, for this and all DVDs. To show ignored reviews, right-click on the review list and select Show Ignored Reviewers.

DVD Profiler (by default) hides reviews with no text, but does include them in the calculation of average review. To show reviews with no text, right-click on the review list and select Show Reviews With No Text.

Review indicators denote Favorite Reviewer - , Ignored Reviewer - , and Review with Spoilers - .

To comment on a particular review, select Comment. You can submit a positive comment, a negative comment, or a request that the review be removed. See Submit Review Comment for details.
