For the cast, it's easy. The rules say that the end credits are leading. Although it's not in the rules, I always thought that if the crew was listed in both the opening and end credits, the ones in the opening credits were leading.

If both are valid, both variants should be listed in my opinion.

In this case, the biggest question is whether an on set vfx supervisor is a valid credit and whether this is a credit we are really looking for.
