I always felt that IF  EVERY one and I mean EVERY one just for one day worked with no wages and worked for free and contributed their wages to the national debt  It would be pretty close to being wiped out.. Doctors- Lawyers-Engineers- politicans etc etc etc &  Profits from car manufacturers etc etc etc etc ..  No taxes/ no profit/ no wages/ no commissions .. how much money would this add up to?? for One day?

Well right now it's $41,000 per person here in the USA. That's every man woman and child.

If I could pay my $41,000 by donating a days wage I don't think I would really be worried about it and would probably be sitting on a beach somewhere in the south pacific.

Does the debt include what people owe the U.S.?

I'm curious to see that, as well, if not.

Alien: There is a section of the clock that tracks personal debt. That's another 53,000 per person on top of the 41,000 per person courtesy of the government.

Debt per head in Germany € 21,000,-  ($ 27,700,-)
With the average German income of € 32,000 per year, I'm not very sure if one day will fully suffice to pay this back.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

We're on our way.
8 billion Euro for Greece - 90 billion expected new debts for 2010 (and that's only Germany, not included the single states or communities, so it will easily rise above the 100 billion). Not to forget that until now no one really knows what happened to the 700 billion that were spent to save the banks in 2009.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
