| Posted: | | | | this is what i would like to get: one CLT for Cast and one for Crew and in Crew options to search more detailed for and/or Writing, Sound, Art and so on...
I think in this way would outcome much more reliable results.
What do you think about it? |

| Posted: | | | | @ Kluge Hi Luigi, i don't understand why... If we have a "Tom /Thomas Smith" in Crew as well as in Cast, why can't we seperate them? Most of the time it is a different Person? |

| Posted: | | | | In Case we have one "Tom /Thomas Smith" in Crew and one in cast? At home in our Profiler they are in different data bases. So why finding a common name for them or a BY?
The same should be managed in the CLT... | | | Last edited: by LKanne |

| Posted: | | | | More important than separating between cast and crew would (IMO) be if the CLT would eventually be able to distinguish between already existing de-linking (i.e. BY).
This would really help a lot. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

When I click on someone's name in DVD Profiler, I want to be able to see all his credits, both in the cast and the crew sections. |

Why? I've given up hope. This issue has been raised and countless threads posted requesting invelos deal with this and other problems. Nothing is ever done. Why should this time be different? In my opinion, it won't. |

The same should be managed in the CLT... Finding a common name / birthyear shows me at home, if these two data entries are in fact two different persons or if they are just two placeholders for the same person. So please, don't change this rule!

But that may be because I concentrate more on TV Series then movies... and you see a lot of the main stars getting crew credits whether they end up with producer credits or decide to direct an episode here and there. | | | Pete |

When I'm searching for Clint Eastwood's movies as an actor, I do not want to get his credits as Director. And same for the contrary. The program is perfect as it is for this point, and any other solution should be optional. | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

| Posted: | | | | I would be happy if the CLT had an option to export to Excel or CSV so the data can be analyzed easier |

This happens in Hollywood all the time. Kevin Costner and George Clooney come to mind - started as actors they are now producers, directors, writers... And there are lots of cameos of directors in movies or even crew members who get to play small roles in low budget movies. Quoting surfeur51: Quote: I totally disagree with that. You would still be able to search for Clint Eastwood as an actor, because this information will still be stored in each profile.
