One thing just occured to me.
It might be interesting to start windows in safe mode and see if the error still occurs.
Not that it's a solution, but it might help to narrow down what's wrong.
How to boot Windows 10 in safe mode

How did you reinstall your DVD Profiler database?

A little over a week ago, I purchased a new hard drive, installed a clean installation of Windows 10, installed DVD Profiler, and copied over the DVD Profiler folder over to the new drive and everything works great.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with the database or files themselves?  What is the file path for your DVD Profiler database?

In my case, none of the forum help resulted. The problem disappeared without any action being taken.
Unfortunately life is like this.
