Erm, maybe the error is on my end, but I still can't download it, nor does the picture show.

Still get the "403 Permission Denied
You do not have permission for this request /shopping/downloads/DVDPca.zip "

I'll send it to you until we figure it out. Meanwhile maybe refresh your browser? If I don't have your email yet, go ahead and PM me while I get coffee, etc. ....  (Edit: sent.)

Ok, tried 0.2 and now it works, but before I see the actual results of the disc-scan I have to click through ~20 error messages like these two:

Looks like an error message for every subtitle and audio stream. After clicking OK on all of them I could access the results, though.

EDIT: No results in audio window visible, and in the list on the left side only english for all three tracks (should be english, german, and spanish). Moving the mouse over the subtitles windows repeats the subtitles error messages.

All looking good so far on my side. The only issues I came across...

- Media Player won't start disc with the play button on the player itself... though all buttons work once you initially start it. But I take it you know about this issue since you have a play link below the player.

- When I check all titles (all episodes on a TV Series disc) it don't automatically add in the run time in the general section. Which I am willing to bet you also know about and is working on.

Correct on the first one. On the second, there is a menu option to do that under "DVD Profiler." Doing it on every click would slow things down, and there may be new functions in the future, based on "checked titles."

It's a shame you are getting so little metadata. Bummer.

I am not surprised on that particular disc.... as it is one of those cheapie labels it is nothing more then the episodes slapped on the disc.

I am embarrassed to say I even looked in the menu options... and I still overlooked the calculate run times.  Worked great... thanks!

I had this bug, and thought I fixed it. I wonder now if I sent you the latest. Edit: I checked, and I sent the correct one. Scratching my head at the moment ... breakfast time - need to recharge the batteries ...

Oh wait, your error message says "Spanisch" ????

Tested version 0.2 against Olive Films "Assaut on a Queen" (887090-036702). Got the following error:

System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
  at DVDInfo.DVDInfo.button1_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m)
  at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m)
  at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)

I got the metadata fields, but nothing else.

Also tested against the aussie release of Danger 5 (9-322225-094796). No error message, but it claimed that there was Swedish audio and subtitles in addition to English, which is incorrect. It displayed disc id 9342873DB8602F91 while DVD Profiler showed 11C95C4F6D1300F5 [Danger 5]

The DVD of ZAAT (from the DVD/BD combo 851169-003100) reports Swedish and Spanish audio and Spanish subtitles. The Spanish subtitle is correct, but the audio is English and Commentary (also English).

BDs don't seem to yield very much useful info, but you probably already knew that.

Gasp. I'm not sure how to handle all this ... without having the DVDs. I need to think about a diagnostic process.

And yes, each time I have released, I have said "still working on BD support." I think I will just turn off initial scan until I get it complete. It's causing confusion.

Yeah, the error messages contain the translated names for the audio tracks. "Englisch" instead "english" , "Deutsch" instead "german etc.

I found that one. There is a built-in function that translates the locality name to English. This matches what I have in the standalone. But I don't know what shows in non-US DVDP dropdowns. If you have local language dropdowns, then the plugin dropdowns should follow, but that will invalidate the local.EnglishName conversion that I do as part of the metadata extraction. I'll just have to wait and see and try to fix whatever happens. I have access to loacla culture info, so I should be able to figure out how to go from local.EnglishName -> local culture name in order to match the dropdown. But I'm not sure.

Now working on putting in a log to suppress all the external messages and putting in enough diagnostic info to help me debug, and preventing the program from crashing. Of course now everything is broken and nothing is working anymore.

Hm, I'm not sure I understand all of this. Does it have anything to do with language used in DVD Profiler itself?

Because I don't use a german translation for DVD Profiler, only Windows XP is german.

The dropdown menues of DVDPca are in english, too:

And a small question: Is an installation of Windows Media Player needed? Because I don't have it. (I only use "PowerDVD" and "Media Player Classic")
