I agree it would be nice to have the title fields as you described... but of course that is a program change that Ken would have to do. I would also add to it the ability to choose which of the title fields you want to have displayed in your list of profiles.
Personally I voted for.. maybe even pushed a little for cover title... and I personally stand by that even now. Of course even then I knew things such as this... that didn't seem quite right... would pop up. And I accepted that then... as I do now. I know there is not a rule in the world that will cover every single release properly. But I do have the ability to take the bad with the good... and accept that there is no such thing as perfect... especially for the online database. | | | | Pete |

Like I said, "Take the title from the cover". If two DVD contain the same movie (same screen title), but have different cover titles, use the cover title anyway. It's what the Rules say, and the rationale is that DVDP lists DVDs (whose title is usually found on the cover), not movies as such. In a few circumstances, like this one, that rule can give weird results, but I don't see alternatives. Quote:
