| Posted: February 26, 2008 10:58 PM | | | | The larger portion of our birth years table contained only one entry per name, which should generally not be the case if the entry is correct.
As a one-time measure, we've purged the accepted birth years table of all questionable data. All entries listed in this thread remain. We'll be more closely scrutinizing new birth year submissions going forward and have added backtracking so we can research the additions if necessary.
Note that this purge does not affect existing profiles - only new submissions with changes to cast or crew. In that case, if a cast/crew member has a birth year and there is no corresponding accepted entry (matched by name only), you'll get the extra checkbox section and will need to document the addition. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. While the wiki may be very nice, I personally prefer to have this data right here on Invelos' own website. But that's just me... |

| Posted: February 27, 2008 6:58 PM | | | | I'd prefer to have the wiki here on this website, but until that happens (and I've asked in the web forum), I still think this format is going to be cumbersome and ultimately will not scale. But if that's what people want, so be it. |

Perhaps the sign in holds some people back or are perhaps not used to the wiki and working with it. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions. |
