Make a new backup on your old pc and try restoring it again.

A full backup should include the personal info. You can 1) try making a new backup, or 2) simply move the the whole file folder to the new system, or 3) after(!) option 2 do a full database repair on the old machine and run a new backup.

Good info has been provided. For another layer of protection, using your old computer and database, you could upload your database to online and also do a full XML export. That will give you two more avenues for recovery later, if somehow the backup file continues to be a problem (unlikely).
Thanks for your support.
