Just discovered this morning that I have about 2 dozen entries in my library that are attached to
Initial Entertainment Group .. .??  At first I thought that there was one or two ( and I know I never enteredthis informaiton as I have never even heard of this studio. ) Then I did a check and found I had many entries. Of which I am now deleting the studio..

Any one else have this bug??

I have one of those too, Terry. Ingenious Film Partners seems to have chosen to replace 20th Fox, oh well I'll get them all eventually.

I had 2. Ali and Traffic.

Not sure why you think it is a bug. They seem to be a legitimate production company.

IMDb link

As far as the Group W thing, that needs to be deleted and the info re-submitted  (Ahh the good old days)

I realised after a few mistakes early on with 3.0 that when you edit a profile, you really have to be extremely careful with the "Edit Studios" button.

At first, I started typing into the box so as to jump to the right studio, not realising that what it actually does is replace the highlighted studio with what you are typing! So I had a few dodgy entries and am stlil not sure if I did actually manage to clean them all up!

Terry, unless you found them in the cast list, I am now wondering why you'd want to delete them? I have two (The Aviator and The Departed) and according the link Rick gave they seem to be correct that way...

no, they were in the studio list but only within the three dropdown boxes we all have, not the master list.

Most if not all were 20 century Fox films,, such as All the Star Wars DVD's / Predator / All about Eve, and even my satelite copy of The Flim Flam Man..,, to name just a few .

truly strange as I have never attached that studio to any of theses films..

So you deleted a Studio which was attached to 18 profiles? The program let you do this? Or is this the problem you are reporting?

O.k., that makes little more sense now.

But as you saw, the Studio in question is legitimate after all

I too had some weirdness with 20th Century Fox being replaced with Warner Home, and I think it may have had something to do with Edit Studio. I really don't know, but I had around 20 where this happened. I think something is buggy, but have not been able to pin down the actual cause/effect of what is happening.

However I think there is a bug in the conversion process; I had a whole bunch of Adult movies suddenly become done by Clint's Malpaso studio (hmm, unlikely I thought) until I did a Repair Database (luckily after the Repair facility was fixed...).
There is also an odd bug I can't replicate enough to say when it happens (I think it's after starting to add a studio and cancelling the addition) but the Studio selector seems to get stuck and whatever one you pick from the list it always chooses another one until you close and re-open the edit profile screen
It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong
