There are some dvd which aren't in the DB of 3.0 for the moment, so I have reinstalled the version 2.5 beta, entered those dvd in my collection, but for none of them I could download the covers. It always went to an error, does anybody experience the same issue ?

If something has to be done to fix this, could you let me know ? Thanks

That's in my opinion the only lack of version 3.0, all the dvd from the old DB are not available yet in the new one...

The 2.x Intervocative site's servers are down for maintenance as they are about to be merged (like it or not...) with the Invelos 3.0 databases.

Would that include the Total amount of DVD's in inventory as well??  Right now in Invelos the data base is sitting at 147,177 total titles world wide., YET I remember that back in March the data inventory for total discs in 2.5 was well over 330,000 titles .....
Would those be merged as well ??????????

Many of the titles present in 2.x database are bootlegs, have fake UPCs and other characteristics that'll prevent them to migrate to 3.0 when Ken does a sweep for invalid UPCs, etc. upon merging.
Many of those "improper" ones will still sneak thru, of course. But the final number of dvds present in the 3.0 database will never be as high as the one in 2.x on account of that. (And that's a good thing  )

It already does, sort of.
If you select a profile then go to the Online menu - -> Other Websites - there's a link there that will search IMDB for that title.

I also believe there's a plug-in called "Cinematic Viewer"?? (Name may be wrong) that allows you, among other things, to add an IMDB link to a profile.

Edit: Oops! I just realised you probably didn't mean that kind of link!

Never say never, but all the indications from Ken in the past suggest it's not going to link for obtaining data.
