Sorry to bump an old thread, but I wanted to ask, is there Chinese available in the audio tracks? I couldn't sworn there was but maybe I'm thinking of the subtitles.

There is no Chinese in the audio (only Mandarin and Cantonese).  The subs are listed as Chinese.  There is one written language in Chinese (though two forms: Simplified and Traditional), but several spoken forms, so there is no "Chinese" language.

So here we are 2017 and we still do not list a Chinese or Chinese (Taiwan) Audio Tracks and we still have to use Other. Yea, I know, we list Mandarin and Cantonese, but there is no way to tell which is which, unless you speak Chinese. Please give us Chinese and Taiwanese as Audio Tracks.

Sorry to bump this but it's not resolved or I can't find the resolution.

You just have to read what the track is called in the menu? Unfortunately the DVDknowledgedatabase is gone, I had a list there with the languages in their own writing system.

Taiwan should be either Mandarin, which is the official language or it could be Hokkien (also a chinese language), which seem to be the first language of 70% of the people.
