My software key no longer works |

| | Posted: | | | | I just tried to add a DVD to my DVD Profiler Software (Free Version) and got an error message saying that I needed to update the software.
I downloaded the software and installed it but the Key I got when I first downloaded DVD Profiler does not work, in fact the format seems to have changed.
I used the forgot key facility but nothing arrived in my email.
Anyone know what I can do now. I want to remain on the free software. |

| | Posted: | | | | I believe you no longer are required to even have a key with the free registration.
Once you download and install the new version do a backup of your old collection (using 2.4) and then restore it into the new version.
Depending on the size of your collection you will most likely be loosing some features by not registering (paying). |

The only feature I've noticed is not available any more is the ability to double click a name and see what other DVDs they are on.
I assume that the number of DVDs I can add remains unlimited? |

Really, this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I would have gladly put forth twice the cost.
Hold off on purchasing one DVD and put the money towards registering the product. You will not regret it. |
