We maintain a database of customers policies, if we didn't match customers up when they applied for new policies, we would have no idea what risk that individual represents to us. And yes people do use variations of their names when completing their applications. Very simplistic, but which one reveals the most information.
One gives you minimalist information, the other one tells you not only who is in the Episode but where it is.

Skip The Discs lists shows which episodes are on which discs already.
