Ken & Gerri:

Last week I submitted a profile with covers for UPC 025195-009287 for what I thought was a double feature box set of "The Black Dahlia" and "Hollywoodland."  That's the way they were advertised on Deep Discount when I ordered that UPC'd item.

Well, they arrived today, and it turns out it was just a sales gimmick.  They are the regular standalone keep case titles that came out last year, just shrink-wrapped together with a different UPC.  So, please REMOVE the above UPC and associated covers.  These two movies are already in the database under their regular UPC codes.

Empty out the profile (remove all data tha is not critical for a contibution), rename the Title to:

"Screeners: Please delete this profile from the database"

State your reasons in the Overview field.

Unless you get No votes (apparently unlikely), Gerri should catch this when processing and delete the profile.

Too late, I already nuked it on my system.  If somebody else has it, please do the above.  Otherwise, I'll have to hope Gerri sees this request here.

This a great example to others why you should always wait till the product arrives to do a proper contribution of scans and disc information.
I always wait till the products arrive at my door so I can then do a search and a download /or if no product exists, a New proper upload. I would place the discs into DVD rom to extract disc info/running times/audio/aspect ratio and all checks into Main Menu features. New Scans front and rear along with at least a partial list of crew and actors. If the Crew/Cast data is from a previously released contributed title, then you may submit that info of who the contributor was; the date and released date info (cut and paste). always gets me an approval .

I used to add my columbiahouse orders into the ordered section but would forget to check the upc code on arrival and then find out months later that I had the USA version instead of the Canadian version and vice versa.
If no copy exits in the data base but wanted to keep a reminder in my ordered section ,its best to put in a dummy or duplicate title and then revise upon arrival.

Well, I grabbed it again, and resubmitted it as a Removal.  All should be OK shortly.
