Q3. CoO: UK?
Produced by Warner Bros. Pictures. According to the end credits it's "A United Kingdom - Malta Co-Production". Some web sites report "USA-UK-Malta", others "UK-Malta".

I would leave the country of origin field empty for international co-productions until a better solution (multi country field) is implemented, but some have used the primary production company (whatever that is) to define the CoO.

However, I was auditing an existing profile, so I left the CoO as it was ("USA").

I got a NO vote because I contributed "Homer", as in the film credits, as opposite to "Omero", his Italian adapted name.
The DVD has Locality: Italy, but the end titles credit him as "Homer" anyway.

I have withdrawn and resubmitted all the rest, but I would like to hear your opinion on this: what should the Common Name for 'Homer' be?

Neither the English "Homer" nor the Italian "Omero" are the original name, of course!
According to this book review, Homer's name in Greek is Omeros. What do you think of that as Common Name?

Edit: According to Wikipedia, it would be Homeros.

That's an invalid no vote because you've credited him "as credited", so that's entirely according to the rules.
As to the common name question, I have to admit I'm not too sure. I always assumed everyone knew him as Homer.

I would say Homer would be the common name as well.

The credits lookup tool shows 21 titles as Homer, while there are only 4 titles listed with Omero.

I am cool with that, as I know the Common Name is nothing more than a link beetween different "Credited As" names, right?

Though, I would like to read some opinions from other non English or American users too.

I would bet that there are very few places in the world that consider themselves to be literate that would not recognize "Homer" as the great Greek poet of antiquity.
