I am guessing you won't get it over there until that exclusivity expires over here. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Overseas liscening is a strange beast, and exclusive over here doesn't mean much over there unless the same studio owns rights in both countries. For instantce. The first Classic Sfi-Fi ultimate collection, also a Best Buy exclusive, has movies in it that have never been available here in the states, yet are easy to find and cheap in the U.K. (Tarantula and Incredible Shrinking Man come to mind). Think those are owned by different companies. The U.K. has the uncut Friday The 13th since WB has the overseas rights, while Paramount holds them in the US. Unfortunatly all the sequels are held by Paramount everywhere, so we may never see uncut versions. They have no problem releasing uncut sex comedies, but won't touch uncut horror. |

I will admit I am still learning when it comes to distribution rights across the pond. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
