You mean Blu-ray discs are HIGH DEFINITION?

Holy tolido!

Agree Erik, very annoying. Anyone who doesn't know what these discs are will not be interested in them to begin with (IMO)

As I think the article mentions, it's to try and get more people to buy BD, of course, but as always at the expense of the cover artwork which Disney are very guilty of doing over and over.  How about a big sticker... on the plastic?

No, soon we'll get:

Is the new info on the cover itself or on the case?

this is why i have not bought any of these players yet, doesn't anyone remember the VHS/Beta war?
LP's vs. CD's, 8-track vs. cassette, and i still have not bought a HD TV yet, but i know that not only will the price come down but the quailty will go up, i'm just going to wait and save my money for that better, cheaper product, maybe next year.

While I can understand that attitude, there is always a better cheaper product available next year.

Absolutely!  I can understand waiting, especially this early in the game.  But at some point you have to make that jump or you'll be waiting forever.

That Disney cover sure is ugly, but it's only the cover.  I don't care as long as the disc is great quality.

Typically Disney... doesn't surprise me in any way, but I have to say last weekend I went High Def by buying a SONY Blu-ray. For now the cheapest on the market, but heck I can finally buy some titles I still wanted... Ocean, 300 and I'll keep my eye on Amazon for a few weeks

Now I need a fullHD screen, but I'll wait for a nice affordable biggun with a nice contrast ratio

So, whatever happened to A_S?  Funny now that Blu seems to have pretty much won this thing he just disappears.  I guess he truly was here just to spread the FUD.  I guess Invelos must have been his assignment.
