No matter how many times I upload my DVD collection from my PC to my online collection it still shows a couple of collection-numbers twice but on different movies. Why is that? And why does it show the last number first instead of the first ?

Oh, and how does some of you get this list of 'latest films watched'? I want one too  .

For your first question: renumber your local database via menu "Collection -> Renumber" and then try to upload again, this should fix it.

For your second question: They are mostly using phpDVDprofiler
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Nope. It did'nt help. It still only shows 173 films with double numbers on 1, 8, no 10, no 13, no 23, no 35, no 36, no 50, double 52, 53, 54, no 65, double 105, no 111, no 114, no 117, double 119, 120, 123, 124, 125, no 132, no 133, no 138, no 139, no 141, no 142, double 143, no 145, double 51, no 158, no 159, no 170 and no 171  .

And why does the online collectionlist descending instead of ascending. I wish the online collection would look like the local database. It looks much, much better  .

First backup your database.

Then goto Tools>Options>Utilities and select Repair DVD Profiler Database. Perform a full Repair.

Then on the menu under Collection select Reassign Collection Numbers...
Select Reassign all collections numbers and tick the box Assign where set to "none". Choose your Order by method. I use Purchase date myself. Then Click ok. Upload your collection.

For the Online collection in your online collection settings there are 3 columns in the left frame if your "Look and Feel" is Plum Peachy. Title/Release Date/Coll#. Click on Coll# and this will sort your online collection by collection number ascending or decending. If your "Look and Feel" is In Blue then there are 2 columns in the left frame...Title/Coll#.

If the mess is only concerning your online collection, you can upload an empty database. First of all:  backup, like 8ballMax said! Then create a new (empty) database in the profiler and upload. After this switch to your original local database in the profiler and upload again!
