| Posted: | | | | Most of use use an external PHP script called phpDVDProfiler or phpMyProfiler (sorry, don't know the URL of the latter one). It's based on the XML export of DVD Profiler and creates a website like the online listing, but with more features, e.g. mine here. It can also be configured to create these watched and bought banners like in my sig. What you need is your own webspace with PHP and MySQL capability. HTH | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Those picture signatures which are often loading very slowly from external web sites and are diverting my attention from the content of the posting are the main reason why I have hidden all the signatures in this forum completely on my firefox by adding the following to my userContent.css: Quote:
@-moz-document domain(invelos.com) { .signature { display: none; } }

Where is that file? Or where does it need to be created? On my German Windows 2000 I have created it in "C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\rho\Anwendungsdaten\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\8ugdnx9n.default\chrome". You will see an existing "userContent-example.css" file in the correct directory. | | | Last edited: by RHo |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks, that worked great. Of course I'm not sure it's that important to me since the signatures around here really aren't that bad (with the exception of the big pictures). But it's very nice to know how it's done! | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Using Opera it would be a rightclick on the page and use "Block content" in the now opening edit-window you just have to to click on the unwanted parts. This very effectively finishes off with advertisement too. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
