| | Posted: | | | |  It is once again time for my annual 25 Days of Christmas Marathon. Every year between Dec. 1st and Dec. 25th I am sure to watch at least 1 Christmas Movie, 1 Christmas episode or 1 Christmas Special per day. The way I think I will do it this year... is for the most part... I will continue watching as I normally do. That is TV Show during the the week (Mon. - Thurs.) and Movies during the weekend (Fri. - Sun.)... though there will be exceptions as the mood hits. The Christmas Specials will be thrown in there at any time the mood hits. My Christmas Collection:Movies: 1. An Angel for Christmas (Animated) 2. Black Christmas 3. Black Xmas 4. A Christmas Story 5. | | Posted: | | | | If you get a chance, get Shrek the Halls. I bought it this year as it finally came down in price. Very short (comes in at about 21 mins), but very funny! Helps that I got an orange kitty this year who acts very much like Puss in Boots when he comes to visit in this video.  This will definitely become a yearly tradition with me! This year, I've already watched Shrek the Halls, How the Grinch Stole Christmas (along with Horton Hears a Who), SNL: Christmas, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, Frosty Returns, and Darkwing Duck: It's a Wonderful Leaf. Kind of in the mood for Christmas this year. One of the odder ones I watch every year is Pee Wee's Playhouse: Christmas Special. Almost any famous celebrity of the time is in it. | | Posted: | | | | and if you really want to get sentimental for Christmas and want to enjoy a great musical, widescreen presentation (of my annual favorite) check out Scrooge (1970) with Albert Finney as a wonderful old Ebeneezer and the music is done in fine taste and the 'sets' look to me like they are right out of Oliver from a couple years before .. You can check out three dates of playing the title in December on TCM ... | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

| | Posted: | | | | I thought about joining in, but unfortunately two of the most anticipated games (for me) have just been released (Fallout: New Vegas and Assassins Creed: Brotherhood) and next week the Tron game is being released. As a result, my movie watching has taken a major hit and my TiVos are filling up. |
