| | Posted: | | | | Just noticed that, along with the media banners for DVD always being set to 'on' and displaying the ugly grey DVD banner on Desktop thumbnails, adding a DVD from the iPhone version of DVD Profiler provides incomplete and incorrect details to the database.
I just added Bachelor Party 9321337026657 from my iPhone, quite an old title. An hour later when I synced the iPhone DB to my desktop DB, all titles were transfered accross as usual (with the media banners forced to 'on'). When I opened up the details of the DVD to remove the media banner setting, the desktop version told me that there was a new version of the profile. The comparison screen showed basic items missing from the iPhone version - the video was set to "NTSC" when the updated profile had "PAL Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1", there was no cast/crew, and a few other bits and pieces.
