I know absolutely nothing about making plugins... so don't know if this is even possible. But I thought of an idea that could be a fun waste of time type thing. So I thought I would see if anyone would be interested in trying to create it. And to see if I am the only one out there that thinks it could be fun.

My idea is if you could take the front cover art (Even better if you can take images from the gallery) and turn them into a jigsaw puzzle. Yes I am a bit of a jigsaw puzzle geek!

So I was thinking it could be something like...

- Take images from the cover art / Gallery (if possible a must!)
- Selection of picture to use (if Gallery images is possible)
- Control difficulty with # of pieces
---- Easy = 25 pieces
---- Medium = 50 pieces
---- Hard = 75 Pieces
---- Hardest = 100 pieces
- Possibly have a timer in 2 phases... time how long it takes you and count down clock to solve puzzle could be fun

Like I said... thought it would be something fun to do. Any interest out there?
Pete

In case it is not obvious to some, add this line to the <BODY> of an HTML section:

<a href="http://www.jigsawplanet.com">Puzzle</a>

Of course it refreshes whenever you select a new DVD.

Or you can use the LoadDVD Pro browser window to keep a puzzle going across DVD selections.

I just noticed something that I thought was cool, for a minute, but I'm not so sure now ...

If you save the resulting URL that includes the "pid" (puzzle ID?), you can actually recall the puzzle later. I don't know for how long. I even tried it on a different PC, hence the memory is on the web site instead of a cookie I guess.

Now, when you browse, you authorize the Java app to access your hard drive. Now the web site has your IP address, your hard drive and a sample of your picture preferences.

Anybody thinking what I am thinking?

Try this. If you get a picture, then you know what I like!!!

Also, you will then know why I will be very careful in using this site.

But it does mean that you could perhaps store pre-generated movie-related puzzle URLS in an HTML section.

2 min on that one. I have been working 300 piece puzzles they have been averaging me about 2 hours.

They are not too bad, unless you pick a image with a LOT of one color as the sky image I have been working on for a while.

Rather fun
