| Posted: | | | | How do we enter 'Contender Entertainment Group' in the Media Companies field? Contender Entertainment Group logoQuoting the rules - "Omit company suffixes such as LLC, Ltd., Inc." I have some DVDs listed under 'Contender Entertainment Group' and others under 'Contender Entertainment' in the database. Is 'Group' a company suffix which should be omitted? | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |

| Posted: | | | | I think group is part of the name.
I don't think group has anything to do with the legal status of the company like Inc, Ltd, S.A. and such have |

| Posted: | | | | Group is not a company suffix, but part of the name, so should be included. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. I am not a studio person... so I must ask (trying to learn here).... That means for those listed as Contender Entertainment Group should be listed as such... but those listed just as Contender Entertainment should not have group on it since it is not "Group" in the credits? On one hand it makes sense to match the credits exactly. On the other hand Contender Entertainment won't link up with Contender Entertainment Group. Or am I confused... and GreyHulk meant that they all have "Group" in the credits... but not in profiler. Even if that is the case I am curios what the answer is. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | That's an important discussion. It would be nice to be able to linking studios locally with a sort of 'credited as' feature. Even major studios like Twentieth Century Fox and Warner Bros. Pictures aren't credited the same over time. For example: Twentieth Century Fox Twentieth Century-Fox Warner Bros. Warner Bros. Pictures Warner Bros.-First National etc. | | | Cor |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, A2DVD, all the DVDs I am enquiring about have the 'Contender Entertainment Group' copyright on them. When being contributed, some contributors have been removing the 'Group' part.
There is also 'Contender Home Entertainment' but this is a different credit. | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |
