| Posted: | | | | since dvds are slowing being phased out can we have a feature that has these
First:
collectable value and a price field for current collectable value of the movie (this is not the retail price that you buy it for)
Second: OOP (out of print)
unopened/sealed
rare
Low Production run
numbered Production run (field for the numbered amount made and a field for the numbered movie you have )
not retail sold
give away
some movies are getting to be collectable items and no longer being made in current or any format lets have this program treat the movies like we treat them at home that is a collectable item the goes up or down in price as a collectable item that some of them are and most we hope will be
sorry for the soap box been up 15- 16 hours
and came across this web site and was wondering http://movies.pricecharting.com/ | | | Last edited: by kingzombie |

Is it just me ... seems that was the conclusion you had already reached, so you had to pretend not to understand how using tags, or the suggested plugin, does indeed solve your problem? | | | Thanks for your support. | Posted: | | | | Umm no if I can not add things into the all/owned ... (Not use an add tag) Categories and be able to view it from any source. what the current market place on movies makes this program slowly becoming an outdated program. I thought there would be at this time someone else who would have noticed this and done something |

| Posted: | | | | @kingzombie Your posts are rather confusing, but it seems to me that you haven't quite understood what tags are.
In Profiler, categories and tags are absolutely two very different things.
Tags are attributes (or flags, if you like) that you can set on profiles. Each profile can have as many tags as you like. So a profile in - for example - the Owned category can be tagged as collectable AND oop AND unopened AND whatever.
The only thing from your original post that cannot be done with tags is the collectable value. Tags are boolean values (yes/no, true/false). You would have to use Notes for the value. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar | | | Last edited: by GSyren |
