It would be nice to be able to export the profile database to XML in the order they are displayed on the screen.

What would be the value of this feature?

The program consuming the XML would also have to know to strictly adhere to the order in the file.

I could see how this might be useful. I could test this myself, but you probably already know the answer: doesn't export flagged profiles preserve the display order? If not., maybe that would be a simple way for Ken to implement the request.

If you tell us what you want to accomplish, I might be able to solvable this with XSLT.
I have some transformations that work in 2 stages to get the right sorting.
E.g. my last seen titles
