Are you saying that $14.95 is a high price for DvdProfiler?

I don't know anymore what i paid 6 years ago, but it was at least 24,99 or 29,99. $ or €.

For a PC program, in a pre streaming, pre "everything is digital and online and social media" era, this was a very high price, at least for me and at my age to that time.

It's not really the amount paid.
I think the issue is the tardy updates (not staying current with the industry), but when enough people start complaining, they dangle a carrot in front of everyone and then we wait months for the update to finally materialize.
Not editing the contribution rules to mirror decisions made in the forums, but every new member is suppose to know all about them.

If it meant feature implementation was quick and there was more Invelos presence in the forums etc, I'd happily pay a monthly fee for the product, but unfortunately roll out is slow (4K has been out a while now). I know it is hard to keep the motivation up though!

A monthly subscription is a no-go for me. Will just keep my collection local if that happened. If it were a one-time additional payment, then probably.

For more revenue, Amazon affiliation is the way to go. If the wish list were more functional, a lot of us would be sending a considerable amount in affiliate dollars.
