Finding disc ID's for blu ray discs??? |

| | Posted: | | | | How do people do this? I know I need a blu ray drive in my computer maybe? But is there another way? Anyone knows of other databases? OR can I read it physically on the disc? I have a newer blu ray boxset I want to contribute, but I don't have the ID's for the child profiles.....  |

I wanted to delete it and leave EAN/disc ID blank for someone else to contribute. But I can't do that. It want's to have one of them... or should I just contribute with a manual number? I don't see anywhere where I can lock/unlock this category? |

| | Posted: | | | | you can contribute any part of a profile you own or have ordered .. when you right click the lock you can pick certain areas to lock or ALL .. When satisfied - I usually lock all areas except for cast and crew ..
EAN ( UPC ) and disc ID area are two separate areas .. The EAN section should reflect the upc barcode on the package ( 12 digits) to line it up with that same product in Invelos databank . .
a manually typed - fictitious EAN would not be able to find the missing Disc ID to download back to you .
if you wish the blue ray disc ( or std dvd) to reflect properly in your data .. The disc ID is mainly used for the dvdrom ( blueray) CD tray- inserted to instantly find that disc ID in your library when disc tray is used with your laptop or PC .
