Editing/Creating New Reports - General Tab |
The General tab lets you set the options and settings for your report.
Setting | Description |
Name | The name displays in the report listing, and will also show in the DVD Profiler reports download page if you choose to upload your report. |
Version | Specify a version for your report. You can use any format you'd like for the version, but we recommend Major.Minor.Release. (i.e. 1.2.0) |
License | DVD Profiler reports can be either Public or Private. See Report/Skin Licenses for details. |
Description | A short description of your report. |
Dimensions |
All dimensions are in inches. DVD Profiler reports contain one "DVD Item" per DVD included in the report. Set the Width and Height of the DVD Item to control how large each DVD Item prints. Headers and footers can be enabled or disabled. Specify the Height, or select "Full Page" for report headers. The width is always the width of the page. Page headers and footers cannot be full page, but like report headers/footers are always the width of the page. Column headers can have a specific height, but always match the width of the DVD Item. |
Default Paper Size | Specify the default paper size used for printing your report. Users may also select a different paper size at print time. DVD Profiler will adjust the layout of the report to align with the paper size, which may cause more or fewer columns to be used, and may cause some of the report to be off the page. |
Margins | Margins allow you to specify how much blank area to leave on the top, bottom, left, and right of the printed pages. Although it is possible to select a very small margin (even 0"), be aware that most printers are unable to print at the very edges of the page. |
Preview Image | Load a preview image from a file, or paste the image from your clipboard. This image will be displayed in the reports list, and will also display in the DVD Profiler reports download page if you choose to upload your report. |
