Being able to assign headshots for cast and crew members is a fine addition, but is there an easier way to do that than one by one image dragging? I would like to assign a specific folder for these (I have - and certainly many others do have as well - thousands of headshots ready and waiting, named by the person's name such as "Humphrey Bogart.jpg" in one folder).

So is it possible somehow to assign a folder, where every jpg/gif-file with same name as an entry in cast- and crew-list would be automatically attached to that entry?

I wish there was... I have a folder with thousands too! The question I got is are the headshots a local thing or will they be uploaded to the main database... if so I can see the ping-pongs of ppl perfering 1 headshot over another!

Headshots are a local thing but they get backed up - and you can optionally just back up the head shots if you want to share them.

As for a quick easy bulk load, I will have to consult the expert. I dont know of any of the top of my head, but Ken hates to do things the hard way, so there might be.

Thanks Gerri...
I am actually glad that they are a local thing... would be a headache with all the difference of opinions as we all have!

Absolutely... it's enough battle as a local feature for me myself and I, trying to decide which headshot to use

Thanks, Gerri, for checking this out. Hopefully some solution will come up.

Nice!  I'm too lazy to do them myself.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.
Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection.

Yeah! Very True! I have the same problem... especially with some of the actresses... I can decide between a head shot and some decent full body shots that I have!

Speaking of headshots.. I know some users from the "other site" had posted links to headshot collections, but I can't find them. Any help?

FYI, You can also double-click on the headshot (where it says 'drag an image here') to do a google image search by name.  Just make sure to check usage rights of anything you download.

I think I downloaded my base from DVDoug's site:

http://www.dougweb.org/dvdpro/headshots/

There's 7000+ pics there. There might be more recent collections(?), but I'm not aware of them

Thanks a ton. Was going to ask about something like this.

Holy crap, I'm going to be busy tonight. LOL
"I am Andrew Ryan and I am here to ask you a question:
Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his own brow?

No, says the man in Washington. It belongs to the poor.
No, says the man in the Vatican. It belongs to God.
No, says the man in Moscow. It belongs to everyone.

I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something
different. I chose the impossible. I chose…
Rapture."
