| Posted: | | | | Has this been implemented yet? Or does the mobile program still have to be installed into Main Memory on the PDA?
Thanks NigelS |

| Posted: | | | | You have also the option to install the programme files in the main memory and the database on the SD card. this is my configuration and it works very well. | | | Thorsten |

| Posted: | | | | Likewise, I have the app installed to the device and I instruct DVDP to install the profile information on the storage card. Works quite well but it doesn't hurt to buy the faster SD cards. |

When I installed previous version, it would install, but when I tried to synchronize I got an error stating that the software was not installed in the default location. The fix was to reinstall the software in main memory. (Normally I install all my iPaq soft in the iPaq File Store). That's what the TS is most likely also referring to. |

DVDP Mobile has always had the option to store in both locations. The fact that it wouldn't install on your SD was a hardware issue not the software. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | on some pda's when you install DVD Profiler mobile to your SD card, it will name the folder to "invelo's software dvd profiler mobile" or something to that effect. To get DVD Profiler mobile to work correctly just rename the folder to "DVD Profiler Mobile" and the program should sync correctly. This is what happens on my Ipaq 2215 (also known as Ipaq 2210)

He was able to install on the SD from my understanding by DVDP didn't check the SD to see if the app was installed when it couldn't find it in main memory. That tells me it's a software issue. Edit: Didn't notice rp_63's post (didn't scroll down far enough). If the PDA named the folder incorrectly, it's still a software issue but on the OS side. So there! | | | Last edited: by Dr. Killpatient |

How would you know what I or the TS ran into ?! It was not a hardware problem at all. Installation into iPaq File Store worked perfectly, but when trying to sync the software EXPLICITLY said it wouldn't sync because it was not installed into the default directory. But rp_63's explanation makes sense. Anyway, problem still exists with 3.1 as well, and the trick of rp_63 doesn't help. I think DVDP just doesn't like it when I install to the iPaq File Store (didn't try to install on SD though). | | | Last edited: by hevanw |

| Posted: | | | | A question, does it mean that I can put the DvD profiler mobile on the Sd card of my palm and that it would work? I allready use video list plus but I find this programm is really not as complete, and good as the DPM. |

Yep. I have DVDProfiler Mobile and all the data on the card. The only thing I didn't install on the card is the .NET framework. |
