| Posted: | | | | added Suspense/Thriller to Genres; added contained Features (checked with PowerDVD); added contained Wendecover to Other Features; added contained Commentary Subtitle (checked with PowerDVD); sorted and edited Audio Tracks as son disc (checked with PowerDVD); edited Overview to match back-cover better; added Disc Info via DVD Profiler read-out; fixed Crew entry "John W. Campbell, Jr.: Story By" to "John W. Campbell, Jr.: Original Material By" according to the rules (original credits read: "Based on the Story "Who Goes There?" by John W. Campbell, Jr." - so this is no story written for the movie but an adapted story/original material); removed "David Katz: Sound" as he is only credited as "Recordist" with the other tech crew and as such not a Crew member we usually track in profiler so far; made new cover scans (better cut front, and imho better color match - see white and blue on front cover) Evaluate this contribution Profile Contribution Approved Mar 29 2010 5:11PM Image Contribution Approved Mar 29 2010 5:11PM |

As on back of the case. added "David Katz: Sound", he is credited as "Recordist", btw along with the boom operator. From end credits. What do you think did the Recordist along with the Boom Man = Boom Operator record, if not Sound? (Sound) Recordists / Production (Sound) Mixers are exactly the crew members we track in Profiler. *Updated Notes* edited Overview to match back-cover better (einer ihnen -> einer von ihnen, typographical quotes around 'Das Ding aus einer anderen Welt'). | Posted: | | | | removed "David Katz: Sound" as he is only credit as Recordist ans as such simply not contributable per rules... see also Forum-Thread http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=443922; usually the Boom Man is credited along with the Production Sound Mixer (or as translated in UK/Canadian/Australian SOUND Recordist), but this is the already credited "Thomas Causey: Production Sound Mixer" in a US-production - so this Recordist David Katz is no (Sound) Recordist/PSM usually tracked in profiler - you might also check out his other TWO sound-jobs mentioned at e.g. imdb - does "sound associate" sound anything important or trackable to you???
