But for the way members of this community tend to handle things even 1% is not good enough. It has to function in every instance for Online, Local is another story.

Glad to finally see someone who doesn't have the standard, defeatist attitude that's rotting these forums. | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

Equal to my wish, I also want separated movie and media data. I don't see where the problem should be. The easiest way could be to enter a new movie profile IF there is any difference e.g in the cast list because different cut, translation or other. And even if there are other problems, they all can be solved. Better than the existing situation with a dozen of different profiles, all with the same movie version, but totally different cast&crew lists. Ridiculous! This "linking" of movie and media data can also solve another problem: more than one movie on a single disc. | | | Never argue with an idiot. | Posted: | | | | My wish would be to be able to switch covers for a profile Let me explain : You select a profile that you'd like to have a better picture, or just a different one (many times, Dvd covers arent the same between countries.. and sometimes I find much nicest pictures with another version of the dvd). Right now I have to : download the other profile, Ctrl+E, go to covers, copy.. then go to the one I keep, same.. (with paste) etc.. So, browsing the profiles database, would be nice to be able to "right click" > "apply covers to ..." and then select one of our profile (btw. nice forum ^^ when I think that I'm using the prog so long & never though coming here ) looking forward on the 3.5 ! | | | Last edited: by Fredecureuil |

| Posted: | | | | Something that hasn't been mentioned in this thread (at least as far as I remember) is a request that came up several times in other threads: The ability to see how many users have a profile in their collection - that would really be interesting information. Since this info would, of course, be subject to frequent change, maybe a link in the profile to an info page on the Invelos web site would be great. How about using something like the overview pages for the "View/Edit Locks" feature (and maybe even replace the "View/Edit Locks" functionality - nobody seems to be using this anymore ) | | | Michael |

| Posted: | | | | My first Forum posting. so perhaps I may be forgiven for making three wishes...
1 Credit Lookup: a request for fuzzy logic here, offering search options of 'exact match' and 'close match'.
Why? Because although a brilliant tool and a great step to full database access, this kind of result can and does happen: "Stephane Audran" is credited in the following 32 titles (39 profiles) "Stéphane Audran" is credited in the following 114 titles (172 profiles) (- and maybe "Stephan Audrane" is also lurking somewhere...)
2 Online collection: tick boxes to enable omission of titles as desired. Like others, I will put my collection online when that tweak becomes available.
3 User Profile: after 'Interests' add another line such as 'DVD Collection Scope/Speciality' or some such wording to enable a brief or otherwise description by a member of their collection.
As an example, my own would be something like 'Particular interest in foreign films/DVDs ie those originating in non- English-speaking countries.' | | | Last edited: by SunshineDays |

| Posted: | | | | Something I brought up a while ago that I think is worth adding to this thread...
I would really like to see the cast/crew linking be determined by the tab you are in... at least as an option. This way you can have something like...
Click on a cast/crew member in owned section... you only get results from the owned tab.
Click on from ordered... only get linking results in ordered tab.
Click on from wishlist... only get linking results from wishlist tab.
Click on from All... then you get linking results from all the tabs.
If not something like that... then a place in options so that you can get results from either just the owned or a combination of your choice. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | But that is not what I requested... that I why I put... Quote:

Click on from wishlist... only get linking results from wishlist tab.
Click on from All... then you get linking results from all the tabs.[/b] What about... Click on from owned... only get linking results in ordered tab.If I click on a cast/crew name now in the owned section I get the results of all sections... whether it is owned, ordered or wishlist. What about... Click on from wishlist... only get linking results from wishlist tab.If I click on a cast/crew name now in the wishlist section I get the results of all sections... whether it is owned, ordered or wishlist. what about... So... if you read what I asked for... you can see we do NOT already have this feature. | Posted: | | | | Trying to read to see what it is you're looking for., If you are already in your owned tab it will not show you what is in your wish tab,, because you are in that specifed tab only,, by using All it will show you not only all,, but the displayed results.. Here in this screen shot I have Owned Tab opened, and the circled examples shows wishlist.. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird.
