I actually see this quite a bit. Matter of fact I just was working on a profile earlier that was up over 7min of nothing but trailers in a single video file. | | | Pete |

I think spammers have already created such tool, for different purposes I mentioned before that I tried that on a couple of sample screens using Microsoft's built-in OCR functions. But it didn't work very well, even after I messed with the contrast and brightness on an already relatively sharp image. When I get to the Blu-Ray stuff, I might try it again. Those images are probably sharp enough to yield decent results. If anybody wants to work on some code that we could later integrate, let me know - cause it will be awhile before I get back to that experiment. PM me for a link to a sample project that gave me head start. Just out of curiosity, what do spammers do with that? Guess I'm kind of naive about such things. | | | Thanks for your support. They scan the CAPTCHA images to bypass the human/machine test. Oh right, of course. I was trying to think of spamming related to scanning DVDs. Had the blinders on. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

Ok, but I was planning to announce the plugin in the Plugins Forum and continue there, but if you prefer to continue here, so be it. Don't get you. You complained, I said I agreed with your point of view and now here you go again. Perhaps you seek publicity. Fame is fleeting, but infamy is eternal. | | | Thanks for your support.
