I suspect that I already know what the result of this thread will be, but there are at least 2 Scott Smiths in the database. I already did a thread about Film Editor M. Scott Smith (common name was Scott Smith), so hopefully this common name won't be Scott Smith also.

My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!

Anyone got a BY for him maybe? My local is currently mixed with him and an M. Scott Smith (film editor) who's common name is also Scott Smith.

Wait, PSM Scott and Sound Editor Scott are freaking different people too? Who says, I need more than imdb on that as I've seen them mess this up before. I just fixed em and gave out green arrows, now there's talk and links of a third?!?

The sound guys can be the same in my local, I only have the one editor profile anyway. Too many SS's around here anyway. In fact, if I sell the craptacular Unnamable II, then he'd be gone!

New plan!

EDIT: that link looks legit. When I've seen them mess these up one guy (1 name variation I should say) will usually have 1-5 titles, not 25. 25 means it's probably really a different person. Booooooo! Anyone want to buy Unnamable II?

Unwatchable to some,

and unnecessary for my collection anymore. It does have Maria Ford though, so maybe I'll keep it and hope it goes OOP and gets as rare and 'spensive as some of her other dvds.

Funny story. Just ran it through dvdpricesearch. You can buy it used on amazon for around $2 (before shipping). Someone has it on dvdempire for $97.98. Only place offering it new is Buy dot com (who never takes listings down no matter how OOP a disc is) so at least it's getting harder to find. Now if only anyone were looking...
