Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end. |

| Posted: | | | | Per the rules, we "enter the year of the original theatrical release." Well, that's 1978, not 1979. I'll supply a few sources confirming the December 14, 1978 releasedate in the film's country of origin (United Kingdom): - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_First_Great_Train_Robbery - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079240/releaseinfo - https://www.bfi.org.uk/films-tv-people/4ce2b6bd5c468 Note that the film had it's American premiere in 1979, but that doesn't matter: it's a UK film and it had it's UK premiere on December 14, 1978. This also explains some confusion about the original title, by the way: in the UK this was called 'The First Great Train Robbery', while it was later retitled as 'The Great Train Robbery' for the American market. There again, the original title in the film's country of origin prevails: 'The First Great Train Robbery' - even though this Blu-ray uses an American print and therefore doesn't even show it.
