I can send you my old registered copy of AnyDVD that will allow you to find the right ID. | Posted: Topic Replies: 188, Topic Views: 12504 |

Please don't call them 'new' Disc IDs. They are wrong. All other versions of Windows report the correct Disc ID, Windows 10 reports an incorrect one - until they solve this problem. Once the problem is solved, these 'new' Disc IDs will just disappear. Please call them 'fake' Disc IDs if anything.
All current versions of AnyDVD call the Disc ID direct from the drive. AnyDVD is no longer the problem it used to be.
Quote: Quoting marcelb7: The unfortunate thing is that the new DVD DiscIDs (the ones that are scanned without running AnyDVD) are not recognized by the DVDP program. That would require a program update.... Ken? Hello? Anyone?? | Posted: Topic Replies: 188, Topic Views: 12504 |

The problem is purely down to Windows 10 and only affects DVDs. The 1809 update seems to have started the issue.
AnyDVD, for now, solves the problem by calling the Disc ID direct from the drive, bypassing Windows altogether. That is why I have offered my (older but functional) copy for free to anyone who wants it, it's not worth forking out money to solve the issue for now.
Any other version of Windows is unaffected. Blu-rays are unaffected. | Posted: Topic Replies: 188, Topic Views: 12504 |

Bump. Invalid Disc IDs still being submitted without people seeing this thread. I have asked several times for this thread to be pinned to the top of the forum, but still nothing. | Posted: Topic Replies: 188, Topic Views: 12504 |

Yes, it should really be under both Features and Audio Tracks, but there is no option in Features... yet. | Posted: Topic Replies: 19, Topic Views: 2375 |

Yeah. You treat it as a four DVD set, as each side has its own Disc ID. | Posted: Topic Replies: 6, Topic Views: 1355 |

I believe it would be one Disc ID for each disc.
I would label them simply "The Flintstones: The Complete Series: Disc 1", "The Flintstones: The Complete Series: Disc 2" etc. Otherwise it could be far too complicated and may leave it open to interpretation.
The Overview for each disc should contain at least a simple episode listing. That's where you could say "Season 1: Episodes 1-6", or whatever is applicable. | Posted: Topic Replies: 4, Topic Views: 1120 |

I was assuming he had the UK version @ 502703502183. I may be wrong. | Posted: Topic Replies: 4, Topic Views: 1168 |

If they have been correctly uploaded, then they haven't been connected to the Parent Profile as 'Box Set' contents.
Until this is corrected, you will have to add them yourself.
EDIT: I've just checked and there are no Child Profiles uploaded as of yet. Someone who owns the set and, a Blu-ray drive for their PC, will need to upload them by Disc ID. | Posted: Topic Replies: 4, Topic Views: 1168 |

Always put the puppeteers in the Cast if they are credited anywhere in the credits. Company names aren't necessary, in my opinion. | Posted: Topic Replies: 5, Topic Views: 2040 |

I remember way back when AnyDVD wasn't getting the Disc IDs right we were told, without question, to not run anything that changed the Disc ID before DVDProfiler could acknowledge it. Contributing Disc IDs generated with AnyDVD (or any other third-party program) was not allowed.
Why is Windows 10 any different, in this case?
If you have any other Windows version, everything is fine.
Ironically, since they adapted it, AnyDVD now fixes the problem! | Posted: Topic Replies: 188, Topic Views: 12504 |

The main problem I have with this is ... if and when Windows 10 is fixed (which I still hope it is) all these 'fictional' Disc IDs go away. So then, if nobody is using them, what's the point? | Posted: Topic Replies: 188, Topic Views: 12504 |

Quote: In short: is my no-vote accurate, or should I just let this go? In short: I would always fight this. Until this problem is solved we need to let the people know that it's not helping. I have been letting people know whenever it crops up in my contribution feed. Some were completely unaware and have been taking my AnyDVD offer. Others had simply forgotten. | Posted: Topic Replies: 188, Topic Views: 12504 |

Often the theme is written by the original composer of the TV series and then someone else goes on to do incidental music for future episodes. | Posted: Topic Replies: 6, Topic Views: 2570 |

I'm trying to pull the database together with regards to some of the Power Rangers DVDs in the UK. However, several titles are listed like "Power Rangers Samurai" while others are listed like "Power Rangers: Samurai".
Colon or no colon, that's the real question...
