Thanks so much for your help DJ Doena and I'll let you know how I get on. | Posted: Topic Replies: 14, Topic Views: 1226 | | Hi DJ Doena. The laptop that I access dvd profiler on is currently with a computer repair shop but I will try this when I get it back. I would imagine though that I'll still get the read stream error message when I try to import it back into dvd profiler. Thanks. | Posted: Topic Replies: 14, Topic Views: 1226 | | I'm not sure I ever uploaded a collection to the database. The last successful backup was at least a couple of years ago, but I have added several thousand dvds since then. | Posted: Topic Replies: 14, Topic Views: 1226 | | Hi Ruben. I've just checked and it's NTFS. | Posted: Topic Replies: 14, Topic Views: 1226 | | Thanks Ruben but I tried backing up to a Seagate 5TB external drive. Same outcome. I've also repaired the database before attempting the back up. | Posted: Topic Replies: 14, Topic Views: 1226 | | Thanks for your advice DJ Doena but sadly that doesn't work either. I unticked all of the options one at a time but still no joy. | Posted: Topic Replies: 14, Topic Views: 1226 | | I have a collection of almost 7000 dvds which I have spent many hours uploading into dvd profiler over the last 15 years. The laptop I have access to them on is about to die but I am unable to create a backup of my collection as I get a stream read error each time I try to save a back up. Help! | Posted: Topic Replies: 14, Topic Views: 1226 | |
