Personally I would rather have the outer box cover than none at all.
If the set is like the Stargate SG-1 sets then the child profiles should have the cover for the relevant disc but failing that the outer box cover would be better than none at all.
Why on earth did he not do the correct scans?

I'm guessing you remove the scans from your local copy, then contribute and tick the "include covers" box.
This would replace the old cover with a blank.

I tried this on something recently and it doesn't work... you can't tick "include covers" if you don't have covers locally.

Substitute a cover sized jpg of lite blue, or off white.  As long as it has something in jpg format to ping on it will work.

If that's the case, then the contribution should defintely be voted against, if he's replacing an (admittedly incorrect) cover with an image that isn't even a dvd cover at all!

Of course, that said, he should be adding the correct cover scans in place of the wrong ones, but he's still not wrong.

I fully agree, Rifter... but if he doesn't have a scanner and has spotted the error I suppose this is all he can do for now.

okay, i grabbing these two because they're closest to what i'm thinking...it could happen.

John is correct imo that he should be adding the correct scan rather than just removing the wrong one. but, adding to voltaire53, if he doesn't have a scanner, he could shout out to the forums for someone else to scan the covers to replace them.

and, oh, didn't notice this was a poll first time through. so i'm torn because perhaps the scans were placeholders for the initial release, and no scan rather than wrong scan would include using a placeholder, yes no am i insane will i be beaten around the shoulder with digipaks in slipcases...?
