Since the last book was published yesterday, revealing the end of the Harry Potter story, J. K. Rowling decided to release the original script of her very first book!

In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

What's the cliche? There are only seven basic plots in all literature... ?

1. Overcoming the monster
2. The quest
3. Journey and return
4. Comedy
5. Tragedy
6. Rebirth
7. Rags to riches

... not to mention how "coming of age" fits into all of these...

And all storytelling falls into one or more of these seven basic conflicts. Character(s), setting(s), conflict(s), and resolution(s)... all that is left is style (or lack of it).

If Potter is based on Star Wars, what is The Hidden Fortress to Star Wars?
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

It's not what is told but how it is told. [with regards to Roger Ebert]
