You clearly never grokked my position in its fullness, but then i am not surpriswed you are too busy trying to parse words to try and understand a position. In point of FACT, there is no one here that REALLY understood what I was saying. That could be me as well as YOU(generic). But the subject is closed.

Oh I grokked your position just fine.  Btw, did we get a new 'word of the day' calendar?

No, amigo, I have very vast array of of words at my literary disposal. Once in awhile one will bubble to the top of the memory banks and I like it . Now don't ask me what made me start thinking of Michael Valentine Smith. or maybe it was Jubal.

Then you must have said it wrong. You can't blame everyone else for not understanding you.

Sure he can. Otherwise he would have to admit he was wrong. Unless this is one of the cases where he simply was arguing a point even though he didn't agree with it (which he has admitted to).

Once again, Thank you Ken for going with the position of the majority.

Now isn't that great.

It appears to me now that everybody, including Skip, is happy about Ken's new rule. We all got what we wanted.

Wonder what the pages and pages of arguing was about

I have a day off tomorrow and am a happy camper doubly so

What pages and pages of arguing? All I saw was pages and pages of agreement!

The first thing I do after adding a DVD is to lock the title and customize it to my needs. It is locked on every single profile in my database.

Title is to me like sort title, I want it in a very specific way (e.g. the first thing to go overboard is the Dist Trait - I don't use them, I don't care about them (except I have indeed two different versions of the same movie) and the readability of titles in
(online-)lists goes through the roof without them).

Only drawback was when Original Titles came into the program: I had to maintain them myself, but it was worth it.
