I have seen a lot of Blu Ray titles in my time.

I just finished watching "Cliffhanger" (UK).

That title was by far the best transfer I have ever seen. I can even hold it's own against the previous Nr. 1 which was "Cars".

If you can playback Area Code B Titles you should definitely check out "Cliffhanger". Even if you don't like that movie that much but the quality of the transfer is mind blowing.

Thanks for the tip, will have to check that out. Have you seen RegionB release of Sweeney Todd in blu-ray yet? Out of my 50+ blu-rays at this moment that one is the very best I have seen. Amazing picture quality.

I have had blu-ray player and full-hd tv about 3 weeks now and have purchased more than 50 br movies by now. I hope this lunacy wears out soon...

I do have the area code "B" Verison of Sweeney Todd. Haven't watched it yet but if it's even half as good as "Cliffhanger" it would still be amazing. I still don't get it though, how a movie from '93 (Cliffhanger) can surpass any current movie in picture quality..

I know what you mean. I got my HD-DVD Player in February and my Blu Ray Player in May. Now I have over 220 HD Titles.. It's really a costly hobby

Maybe, but still, there are a lot of newer movies that look a lot worse.. and those are coming from pristine prints.. But hey... the main factor for me is that the PQ is great (the sound in DTS HD Master is also not to laugh at)... So who am I to question what's behind it..

Right now I am watching "Ocean's Twelve".. That one on the other hand might just be the worst HD Title I have seen so far..
