I am also getting Download errors.

Ping give me the new address and Test Connection comes back all rosy.

But, as soon as I try to refresh or add a new dvd I get an 'Unable to download file' error.

Just checked:
DVDProfiler is trying to connect via the correct IP.
Remote adress is: ev 1s-75-125-61-130.theplanet.com (result verified by OutpostPro)
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

The problems on the serverside seem to be fixed.
Try (as recommended by Ken) to delete your DNS-cache by doing the following:
In the Windows "Start"-menu pick "Run" and type "cmd.exe" at the DOS-prompt type "ipconfig /flushdns" followed by pressing "Enter". Restart your computer and try to download a profile. Please come up again and tell us whether this helped.

I followed your instructions and still get the message "Cannot Download File". Have you got any other suggestions?

Try a databaserepair via DVDProfiler menu "Tools -> Options -> Utilities -> Database Repair ..." Choose the complete repair (default)

Tried that and it did not resolve the problem. It seems as though I am one of only a few to have problems. It worked fine on Saturday and now it won't download. I feel like I am missing something.

How do you connect to the internet?
Is there a proxy involved, or a hard-/software firewall that has it's own DNS-cache?

For testing do the following: in the Windows startmenu pick "Run" and enter "cmd.exe" in the now opening window type "ping www.invelos.com".
To which IP(s) does this try to connect?
How many packets get lost?
What response time does your connection have?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
