| Posted: | | | | Something I've been vaguely curious about for a while is how people end up being credited in the way they are. The sorts of terms I often see are:
- starring - co-starring - with - introducing - guest-starring
Some of these I can make educated guesses at, but others leave me scratching my head. When is a star a co-star (especially when there are both stars and co-stars)? Is someone who is introduced _really_ a first time actor? Why with?
Anyone in the know who can enlighten me?

For example, some credited as "AND xys AS abc" is more important than the third or fourth listed actor in the same credit. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

They are given this credit to show that they are on the same level. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. As someone else stated, I think they are reserved for top actors that for one reason or another isn't listed first or second. | | | My Home Theater |
