| Posted: | | | | Quoting pahu666: Quote: Did you stopped development?? You are here on a forum where the owner (and developper) of the program, Ken Cole, posts very rarely. Only him could answer your question, and my ten years experience of this forum makes me think you will not get an answer. Generally, new versions come without any announcement, so you have just to wait, and hope... | | | Images from movies |

Thank you P What specifically are you missing? Have you made any feature requests? Would you be so impatient if you had to pay for each update? | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

Thank you P What specifically are you missing? Have you made any feature requests? Would you be so impatient if you had to pay for each update? First off, love your work! Second, disagree completely with your response!!! Impatient for what? We don't know anything because Ken doesn't share ANYTHING with the community. I think it's a fair question.. nothing has been posted or mentioned in a year and a half... what else is one to do besides speculate when no information is giving? The last update to DVD Profiler may very well be the last... how would we know different? | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |

The last update to DVD Profiler may very well be the last... how would we know different? the question also applies ro the android version - where at least I'm running the beta (v 1.1.0 build34 released Oct 2013) of the next version (since I joined the beta test in time) - but where new people can't join (to get the beta) so the remainder of the android users are stuck on an old version. You would have thought that at least they could release the latest version so everybody could have it.. | | | Paul |

While, I agree in principle, Ken has made statements in the past about "product development" There have also been requests for changes that have been made, and other things that have been discussed within the forums. It would be nice, to have Ken pop in and say "Hi", at least to let us know that he is still around. It would also be nice to have some of the feature requests answered one way or another. While DVDProfiler does a wonderful job, there is always room for improvement. |

--------------- Significant would be nice. This program doesn't need just a polish with 0.x update, but a complete overhaul under the hood. See this thread. |

We may not see him but we can hear him breathing. Yup, last post almost two months ago. Cannot say that I'm impressed. |

| Posted: | | | | I was in the middle of a long response when I realized that all I was saying was that I agree with all that has been said so far. All valid perspectives. It would be interesting to know what the issues are - time and resources, health, interest, pending buyout, who knows???? I know I wouldn't mind paying in some way for a major enhancement, if that's the issue. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here.
