DVD Profiler's report editor is an interactive designer which lets you lay out the look and contents of your report in a visual tool.  The content edit area has a tab for DVD Item and may also contain one for Column Header, Column Footer, Page Header, Page Footer, Report Header, and Report Footer.  Select one of these tabs to edit that aspect of your report.  To select which tabs are available, see the General Tab.

Report content is made up of report elements.  Each report element is a visual piece of your report.  Some elements are simple drawing tools, such as lines and boxes.  Other elements are more complex, and can convey information about each specific DVD.

Report elements are separated into the following tabs.

Use the Select Item arrow () to select elements already on the report. You can also select the element by name from the element selection drop-down list.  Zooming in () or out () on the report can help you select and align elements accurately.

Report elements are defined with attributes. Attributes are listed by name when the element is selected. Each type of element will display attributes applicable for the type. Set the attribute values to change the look and behavior of each element. See Report Elements for details.

Delete an existing element by selecting it, then clicking Delete Item () or by pressing Ctrl-Del.

Report elements can overlap other elements.  To define which one is "on top", use Bring to Front () and Send to Back ().
