| Posted: | | | | This is the remastered version of The Fifth Element. Taken from the credits etc. I'm not happy with the cover scans, detail is good, but It's lost the silver at the bottom. Colours elsewhere are closer to the cover packaging. The film now has a True HD soundtrack. | Posted: | | | | New contribuion. This is the Remastered Blu-Ray release of "The Fifth Element" released by Sony after all the bad critisism the quality of the original Blu-Ray release got. All the cast and crew information is taken from the previous Blu-Ray entry in DVD Profiler. There's two ways to distinguish the remastered from the old version (except for the UPC offcourse). The remastered version contains a Dolby TrueHD Track, and the scurity sticker on the top says "Fifth Element RMSTD". The movie is encoded from a new Interpositive and looks remarkely better than the first release. Evaluate this contribution |

| Posted: | | | | I'm re-submitting this, changing the CoO to France. (The production company Gaumont is French, Columbia Pictures is only a distributor.) Corrected production year to 1997. | Posted: | | | | - Added trailers to features section - Cast & Crew as credited. There are many incarnations of actor Tommy "Tiny" Lister Jr.'s name in the database. I found Tom 'Tiny' Lister Jr. to be the most common, through the credit lookup feature. Evaluate this contribution Profile Contribution Approved Nov 15 2007 1:44PM | | | DVD Profiler på Dansk |

| Posted: | | | | The video format source is from the back of the case, where it states: 2.40:1 (vs. the current 2.35:1 that is in the database) Changed the Edition to reflect that is the remastered version (as opposed to the original). I realize this is not labeled anywhere on the disc, except for the Added Main Feature disc info and set it as dual-layered Evaluate this contribution Profile Contribution Declined Jan 27 2008 9:05PM |

| Posted: | | | | Cast: 1) Lister was good enough to create a personal web site (http://www.tommytinylister.com) where the obviously preferred form of his name is repeated often. This trumps our lookup DB and i've made that the common name. 2) Molloy's two roles were combined, even though he has two separate credits already. Redundant Role removed to match on screen credits. Crew: from BD credits 1) Mangini credited for Sound Design and Supervision. Sound Supervisor merits a "Sound" credit Audio: ordered per PowerDVD Evaluate this contribution Profile Contribution Approved Jan 30 2008 9:34AM | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

You all know that since a few years Sony discs start with a "Sony Pictures Home Entertainment" banner. Man, sometimes this community reminds me of German bureaucracy... NOT a good sign...
